The 1933 letter urges Davis and husband to come down for the Easter weekend "to visit, to listen to Gilbert and Sullivan, and maybe drink a little beer or something." The 1938 letter explains how Burton Davis came to receive his copy of Driscoll's book before Clare received hers.
